How The weBoost Destination RV Cell Signal Booster 470159 Works
The weBoost 470159 Destination RV Signal Booster Kit utilizes a telescoping pole to elevate the exterior yagi antenna near your RV to maximize signal reception.
From there, the outside cell signal is amplified and transmitted via the included RG-6 cable to the internal antenna inside your RV.
This greatly enhances the strength of the signal and broadcasts it throughout your entire RV.
This whole process also works in reverse!
It's a two way street, giving you a robust and dependable connection going back to the distant cell towers.
What Is The Estimated Inside Coverage Area For The weBoost Destination RV Cell Booster?
You want to place the external antenna where you receive the most signal strength outside!
The amount of outdoor signal strength directly affects the amount of indoor cell coverage provided by your signal booster.
The table below shows how much coverage you may get depending on your outside signal strength:
| Existing Outside Signal Strength | Estimated Inside Coverage |
|---|---|
| Strong (5 Bars) | Most of the RV |
| Medium (3-4 Bars) | Most of the RV |
| Weak (1-2 Bars) | Up to 6 feet from the inside antenna |
| None (0 Bars) | No Coverage |
